No offense taken.

I completely ignored this stuff for 6 straight months and a few weeks back had a moment of weakness and responded to the Cliff Dog, and as to be expected, this rallied the handful of his worshipers to bark loudly and the next thing i know my handle became a thread over the weekend with all this @#$#%# attached to it.

The good that has come from this episode is the following;

A) It's now ok to discuss Grateful Dead shows at the forum between 1980 and 1995 without fearing that you'll get hung.

B) It's now acceptable to discuss off topic subjects here.

C) Cliff has definitely toned down his negative responses to most peoples post's over the last 6 months and as long as i'm here, he'll continue his focus on me, and that is good for everyone else.

D) The more that the rest of the folks here continue to feel good about posting both A & B, the more bored he'll be with this place and the less time he'll spend here.

So in closing, don't ever take anything personal here, just consider the source, review the history, and grow thick skin.

Adios

BTW from where do you hail? > Lake Geneva? Milwaukee? Sheboygen? Green Bay? Madison?

Kochman, please do yourself a favor and seek some help. It's quite obvious to all here that you have suffered a breakdown. There are resources out there to help vets such as yourself get through the "rough patches" in life.

It's unfortunate that you have sacrificed so much. Losing your wife must have been very difficult to deal with, and it's even more sad considering that your illness is the result of your service to our country.

Koch, you must have a friend or someone who still cares about you and can steer you towards some help. Perhaps a counselor from the VA or a psychiatrist? There are medications available to help folks like you cope with your illness. Perhaps if you had continued taking your prescriptions you would not have been turned down for all those jobs and would not be so alone right now?

I am no BS about these things for any vet regardless.
